If you’re playing a Warlock in WoW PvP, you’re a target. Many PvP players hate Warlocks, while even more fear them. Your ability to curse other characters to death makes you a vicious opponent, and a powerful one. A Warlock in PvP is actually a simple class to play. The basic strategy is to hit an opposing character with tons of DoT (Damage Over Time) spells, then cast Fear on them repeatedly. Do this enough times and the opponent dies.

Being a Warlock, you can also suck mana right out of other characters for your own use. You can even regenerate your own health. And if you want, you can make life particularly miserable for other spell casters by siccing your Felhunter on them. In short, a well trained Warlock can defeat any other character class.

A poorly trained Warlock, on the other hand, isn’t going to last very long in PvP. With no combat ability outside their casting, Warlocks are at the mercy of any character that can resist their magic, or somehow drain the Warlock’s mana before the Warlock kills them.
